📡 ISS APRS Pass Report

Location: GCARC W2MMD Clubhouse

Coordinates: 39.73465°N, -75.20691°W

Report Generated: February 19, 2026 at 07:00 PM EST

Period: Next 14 Days

Filter: High-elevation passes (≥70°) any day, any time

About ISS APRS: The International Space Station operates an APRS digipeater on 145.825 MHz
(1200 baud AFSK). This report shows high-elevation passes (≥70°) when you can work the ISS digipeater with
a handheld radio and modest antenna. High-elevation passes provide the best line-of-sight and strongest
signals for successful packet radio contacts. These nearly-overhead passes occur any day and any time.

⚠️ ISS APRS Radio Currently Offline

The ISS APRS digipeater (ISS-DATA) is currently down according to the AMSAT status page.

Pass predictions are being withheld until the radio becomes operational again. The APRS system on the
International Space Station occasionally goes offline for maintenance, crew schedule changes, or technical issues.

What to do:

  • Check AMSAT Status Page for current ISS-DATA status
  • Monitor AMSAT-BB mailing list for updates on ISS operations
  • This report will automatically update when the radio comes back online (weekly updates)
  • Visible ISS passes are not affected – you can still see the station overhead!

Last checked: February 19, 2026 at 07:00 PM EST

About ISS APRS Status Monitoring:

This report automatically checks the AMSAT status page before generating pass predictions.
When ISS-DATA shows as down (red status), passes are withheld until the radio is operational again.
